SUMMER SPEED AND STRENGTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
"Preparing Not Comparing"
This is a strength and speed development program for students, alumni and friends of Maple Grove Senior High School for the summer of 2010. The focus of this program is on preparing athletes for competition in their upcoming seasons and the prevention of athletic injuries. This is a structured comprehensive program of total body training for all boy and girl athletes in all sports activities. Areas of emphasis are muscular strength, flexibility, speed and acceleration. Daily class time will be spent on strength development, running technique, speed training, agility and nutrition. Each participant will be instructed in a program that best meets their current needs and stage of development.

Who: Open to all male and female student athletes of any sport or interest entering grades 9 - 12 and Maple Grove Senior High student athletes/alumni/friends.
NOTE: *New this summer; 7th& 8th grade students may enroll in Session #3.
Where: Maple Grove Senior High Strength Development Center (SDC) and athletic fields. Use the lower level west entrance, "C".
When: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays, June 15 - August 6, 2010

Session 2 · 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. (Code 37077)
Session 3 · 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (Code 37078)

Fee: $130.00 · Includes program t-shirt, individual program forms, personal instruction in proper technique for lifting, running and speed development.
Limit: 90 per session
